Three steps. Nothing else.
Krendo is built around the smallest reading loop that produces vocabulary growth: meet a word in context, understand it immediately, save it for later. Here's exactly what that looks like.
Read in another language
Open any article, blog post, or page in the language you're learning. The extension stays out of your way until you ask for it — no banners, no auto-popups, no annotations on the page.
When you find a word or phrase you don't know, select it and press Ctrl+Space. Selection has to be at least two characters.
El periodista ha logrado reconocer a la mujer entre la multitud después de varios minutos de observación atenta.
Translate inline
A small panel opens next to your selection with the translation, dictionary entries, and a play button for pronunciation. It uses Google Translate under the hood, so coverage matches what you'd get on translate.google.com.
Click outside the panel to dismiss. Open Select dropdowns are excluded from the outside-click handler — your interactions never get cut short.
Save words that matter
If a word is worth remembering, save it from the panel. We keep the source language, the target, the sentence the word came from, and the page URL — context is what makes it stick.
Saved words live in your browser's IndexedDB. Open the Saved words page in this site to browse them, filter by language or topic, add notes and tags, archive what you no longer need.
